Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference was held at Bagh-e-Quaid under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) Karachi. Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri attended it on a special invitation and delivered his keynote address there.
Addressing the Conference, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is celebrated to renew the pledge of loyalty and obedience and strengthen our bond of reverence for the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said it is an article of faith with us that Allah Almighty sent the Prophet of Islam (peace and blessings be upon him) as a mercy for all the worlds, stating those who follow his Sunna cannot go astray.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is the last Prophet of Allah who came to the world as the ambassador of peace. He (peace and blessings be upon him) imparted the lesson of peace, love, tolerance, and moderation. He said the charter of human rights given by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is most comprehensive that urges Muslims to be kind and considerate towards other human beings.
In addition to thousands of believers from across Karachi, people belonging to various walks of life including political and religious leaders, and social activists attended the Milad Conference. The passionate attendance of the people is a sign of the fact that Karachi is the city of the lovers of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
