Addressing a combined ceremony of Miraj-un-Nabi (pbuh) and the monthly spiritual gathering through a video link on the night of March 12, MQI founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the Holy Quran is the biggest and eternal miracle conferred upon the Holy Prophet (pbuh). He said that after the Holy Quran, Miraj (ascension) is the second biggest miracle. He said that the epoch of Miraj is called "al-Isra’ wal Miraj", the word 'al-Isra’' has been derived from the Holy Quran, while the word 'Miraj' has been taken from the Hadith.
Shaykh-ul-Islam said that the journey of Miraj is the living miracle that has been endorsed by the Holy Quran. He said that the Night of the Ascension is a very blessed night, one in which the prayers are granted. He said that five prayers a day are a great gift awarded during the journey of ascension, adding that the believers can please Allah Almighty and their Prophet (pbuh) by establishing prayers.
Meraj (ascension) is a living miracle, testified by the Holy Quran too. Salah (prayer) is the gift granted to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) during this journey to heavens. So the Muslim community should keep Salah close to their hearts.#معراج_النبیﷺ
