Dr. Mir Asif Akbar Qadri, the Chief Organizer of Nazim-e-Ala Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan, stated that all companions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) were beacons of purity and righteousness in the darkness of ignorance. He mentioned that Hazrat Usman Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him), the third Caliph and the son-in-law of the Prophet, was endowed by Allah with great qualities, making him distinguished among the companions.
He said that Hazrat Usman Ghani (RA) possessed such modesty that even angels revered him. He was among the ten companions given glad tidings of Paradise. He dedicated his wealth and life to the cause of Islam and earned Allah's pleasure. Throughout his caliphate, he maintained steadfastness and upheld the principles of Islam.
Dr. Mir Asif Akbar Qadri further remarked that Hazrat Usman Ghani (RA) holds a high status among the Holy Prophet's (PBUH) companions and his virtues and faith are often praised using the words "complete in modesty and faith." The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has been quoted as saying about Hazrat Usman Ghani: "How can I not be shy of a person whom even the angels are shy of!"
Dr Mir Asif Akbar said that Hazrat Usman Ghani (RA) is also known by the title "Ghani" (the Generous), which reflects his true character. In fact, he was the most deserving of this title due to his exceptional qualities. The book "Rawd al-Jinan fi Manaqib Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him)" by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is considered a great gift for scholars, detailing the virtues and merits of Hazrat Usman Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him).
