Chairman of the MQI Supreme Council, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, has stated that a key principle of Islamic trade is for traders to have a high standard of character. Traders should exhibit such morals and character that others are positively influenced by them. Earning lawful (halal) income carries great blessings and brings both worldly and spiritual success. He said those who earn a halal livelihood are beloved in the eyes of people and hold a high rank in the sight of Allah. Income earned according to the principles and regulations set by Islam is considered halal. Islam encourages earning halal income and also trains individuals to avoid haram earnings, he added.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri expressed these thoughts while speaking at the Milad dinner organized by traders and industrialists. He further said that there is no greater fortune for traders than earning their livelihood through halal means, which is a noble Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Traders who conduct their business with honesty are not only earning their livelihood but also gaining the reward of following the Sunnah.
During his address at the Milad dinner, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri also presented his research points on Islamic law and the Constitution of Medina, highlighting its contemporary relevance and welfare aspects. He gifted his renowned book, "The Constitution of Medina and the Concept of a Welfare State," to the guests present at the event.
The host of the Milad dinner was Muhammad Asim Rafiq, President of Daroghawala Industrial Association and Deputy Director of Resources and Marketing at Minhaj-ul-Quran International. The event was attended by Haji Muhammad Rafiq, Muhammad Asim Rafiq, Muhammad Qasim, Abdul Qadeer, Muhammad Mansha, Muhammad Anis Mughal, Irfan Ahmed Qureshi, Tariq Mehmood Grewal, Engineer Saleem Ahmed Fazil, Afzal Ahmed, Hafeez-ur-Rehman Khan, along with other industrialists, traders, exporters, and members of the Daroghawala Industry Owners Association.
