Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, advised the youth and the students to avoid bad company. He emphasized the importance of valuing and protecting one's faith, character, and time. He encouraged them to sit in the company of scholars and pious individuals, and to dedicate every moment of their student life to the pursuit of knowledge. He said that righteous friendships mold lives according to the Islamic framework, while bad friendships lead a person away from Islamic teachings.

Islam has given us the true concept of friendship, as stated in the Holy Quran: "O you who believe, fear Allah and be with the truthful." The principles of friendship provided by Islam are based on truth and sincerity, he said.

Speaking at a training session held at the new campus of the College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri elaborated on the importance of companionship and friendship, saying that a true friend is one who reminds you of Allah when you see them, and you are confident that they will help you on the Day of Judgment. He explained that there are three types of companionship: being with someone superior to you (such as a disciple with a spiritual guide), which requires service and respect; being with someone inferior, which demands mercy and kindness; and being with peers, which calls for sacrifice and selflessness. He urged that one should love those who are religious so that their good morals and habits influence you, while friendship with materialistic people leads to ingratitude and distances one from Allah.

Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri advised the students to respect the institution they are part of and to always honor their teachers from whom they acquire knowledge. He emphasized that the hard work done during student life continues to benefit a person until their last breath.

Principal of the College of Shariah, Dr. Muhammad Mumtaz-ul-Hassan Barvi, along with other faculty members, warmly welcomed Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri to the new campus and presented him with a bouquet of flowers. Vice Principal Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Malik, Engineer Muhammad Rafiq Najam, Rana Muhammad Akram, Syed Iftikhar Ahmad Shah, Syed Sajjad Haider, Mazhar Abbas, Muhammad Boota, and other faculty members were also present.
