President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, leads the funeral prayer

The funeral prayer of Brigadier (Retd.) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Vice President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, was offered in DHA Lahore. The prayer was led by the President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, who also prayed for the forgiveness and elevation of the deceased.
Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri paid tribute to the late Brigadier (R) Iqbal Ahmad Khan for his services to Islam, humanity, and the Minhaj-ul-Quran International. He remarked that the deceased was a symbol of sincerity and loyalty, an honest and upright individual, known for his excellent character, gracious speech, and a valuable asset to the mission of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
He prayed that Almighty Allah accepts his services for the Prophetic mission, grants him a high place in Jannat al-Firdous, and bestows patience upon his family. He also extended condolences to the bereaved family, especially Raja Faiz Rasool (son), Samee-ur-Rehman and Shuja-ur-Rehman (grandsons), and other relatives.
A large number of leaders and workers from Minhaj-ul-Quran and Pakistan Awami Tehreek at central, provincial, and district levels attended the funeral prayer.
Among those present were Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, G.M. Malik, Brigadier (R) Umar Hayat, Haji Abdul Ghafoor, Dr. Muhammad Rafiq Najm, Prof. Dr. Sajid Mahmood Shahzad, Dr. Mir Asif Akbar Qadri, Allama Ashfaq Ali Chishti, Mian Zahid Islam, Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees Qadri, Colonel (R) Khalid Javed, Dr. Muhammad Farooq Rana, Mazhar Mahmood Alvi, Jawad Hamid, Shahzad Rasool, Haji Muhammad Ishaq, Qazi Faiz-ul-Salam, Mian Abdul Qadir, Shakeel Ahmad Tahir, Rana Waheed Shahzad Qadri, Iqbal Hussain Bajwa, Saqib Bhatti, and many others.
