An important meeting was held at the central secretariat in Model Town, Lahore, in connection with Minhaj-ul-Quran (Minhaj Welfare Foundation) Lahore’s annual Qurbani Campaign 2025. The meeting was attended by district, tehsil, and local office-bearers of Minhaj-ul-Quran Lahore as well as hundreds of volunteers from across the city.
The purpose of the meeting was to train volunteers, organize strategic planning, and strengthen the spirit of service to ensure that sacrificial meat reaches deserving individuals on Eid-ul-Adha in a timely and organized manner. The meeting was presided over by Prof. Zulfiqar Ali, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Lahore.
The session was also attended by Deputy Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees, Rana Nafees Hussain Qadri, and Lahore Coordinator of Minhaj Welfare Foundation, Captain (R) Abdul Majeed, along with other senior leaders.
Speaking at the event, Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees said that Qurbani (sacrifice) is not only an act of worship but also a powerful form of serving humanity. "This year too, we are determined to deliver sacrificial meat to thousands of families, and our volunteers are the true heroes of this mission," he added.
Prof. Zulfiqar Ali emphasized that Minhaj-ul-Quran’s Qurbani Campaign on Eid-ul-Adha is a well-organized, transparent, and welfare-driven initiative, in which hundreds of volunteers offer their services with dedication. He urged the volunteers to ensure discipline, sincerity, and transparency at every stage of the Qurbani process to further strengthen public trust.
Captain (R) Abdul Majeed, Coordinator of Minhaj Welfare Foundation Lahore, provided a detailed briefing on the preparations for Qurbani Campaign 2025 and also presented a performance report from the previous year.
During the meeting, leaders expressed pride in the recent successes of the Pakistan Armed Forces and stated that Pakistan’s military has always made sacrifices for the defense of the nation and upheld the nation's honor. Every member of Minhaj-ul-Quran stands shoulder to shoulder with the soldiers of the homeland.
The meeting was also attended by Lahore Secretary Amjad Hussain Chaudhry, Afzal Bhatti, Haji Amjad, Tariq Altaf, Haji Hanif, Mian Mumtaz Hussain, Dr. Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, Mumtaz Khan Kachhi, Shafqat Mughal, Haji Farukh, Allama Khaleel Hanafi, and other prominent leaders.
