Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri's Message of Congratulations on the Arrival of Rabi-ul-Awwal

Congratulations Message of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on the Arrival of Rabi-ul-Awwal

The founder and patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, congratulated the entire Muslim Ummah on the blessed occasion of the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birth during the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. He stated that this sacred month brings with it a message of joy and love. Undoubtedly, there is no greater happiness or blessing for the universe than the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the Prophet (PBUH) taught the world to love knowledge and granted humanity a comprehensive charter of rights and responsibilities. He was the first to advocate for the rights of not only human beings but also animals, and he introduced a vision rooted in balance and tolerance.

He emphasized that true devotion and love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) lie in making his noble character (Seerat-un-Nabi) an integral part of our daily lives. Not a single moment of a believer's life should be disconnected from the blessed example and Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH). Every member of the Ummah should reflect the Prophetic character in their words and actions.

Shaykh-ul-Islam highlighted that the Prophet's (PBUH) life was a beacon of ease and compassion — he would alleviate the burdens of others, prioritize their comfort, and support the weak. In the face of extremism, he (PBUH) always exemplified gentleness, good conduct, broadmindedness, and magnanimity. He responded to evil with goodness and upheld the values of tolerance, love, brotherhood, mercy, forgiveness, patience, dignity, kindness, humility, generosity, sincerity, and forbearance.

Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri further said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was the most generous, the most hospitable, and the ultimate model of patience and perseverance among all humans. The title “Mercy to the Worlds (Rahmat-ul-lil-Alameen)” was not given by any follower, but by Allah Almighty Himself. Acting upon the Prophet’s (PBUH) noble character is the true path to success and salvation in both this world and the Hereafter, he said.
