Return of Flood Victims to Their Homes from Minhaj Welfare's Tent Village

Minhaj Welfare Flood Victims Return Home

Under the auspices of Minhaj Welfare Foundation, 18 families, who had taken refuge in a temporary tent village set up for flood victims in the Chuhung area of Lahore, have begun returning to their homes as the floodwaters recede.

The central leaders of Minhaj-ul-Quran and Minhaj Welfare Foundation, including Deputy Secretary General Allama Rana Muhammad Idris, Lahore President Iqbal Hussain Bajwa, Professor Zulfiqar Ali, Nizam Ali Rehmat, Coordinator Minhaj Welfare Foundation Lahore Captain (Retd) Abdul Majid, Rana Waqeel Khan Manj, Haji Khalid Mahmood, Mumtaz Kachhi, Muhammad Owais Bhatti, Ashraf Bhatti, Chaudhry Afzal Gujjar, Aslam Khokhar, and other leaders, bid farewell to the flood victims as they left the tent village.

Allama Rana Muhammad Idris said, "The flood victims are our brothers. Allah has granted Minhaj Welfare Foundation the honor of hosting them. Our religion teaches us to help our brothers and sisters who are going through hardship. We should always pray to Allah to protect us from such trials, and the best way to show gratitude to Allah is by helping suffering humanity with open hearts."

During the 22-day stay in the tent village, the flood victims were provided with shelter, schooling for children, a mosque, medical aid, medicines, and other necessary services. Additionally, a month's worth of food rations and essential items were distributed to the affected families.

The families who are now returning to their homes expressed their gratitude to Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri’s welfare organization, Minhaj Welfare Foundation, for assisting them during this difficult time. The 18 families spent 22 days as guests of Minhaj Welfare Foundation.
