Chairman Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, delivered a spiritually uplifting address at a Ziafat-e-Milad ﷺ gathering held at the residence of the sons of Syed Ghulam Ali Shah Kazmi in University Town, Abbottabad.
In his speech, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that every good deed should be performed purely for the sake of Allah’s pleasure, as intention is the foundation upon which the acceptance of deeds rests.
He stated that differences of opinion within the Muslim Ummah are in fact a mercy, not a division. “Difference of opinion gives rise to broad-mindedness and tolerance,” he said. “Unfortunately, we often waste our energy proving that only our opinion is correct, while the true need of the time is to serve religion, purify our inner selves, and beautify our actions.”
Dr. Hassan further said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri’s message is to promote knowledge, tolerance, and unity within the Ummah. The mission of Minhaj-ul-Quran is to free the Muslim community from sectarianism and immerse it in the colors of learning and compassion so that the true image of Islam can be presented to the world.
The gathering was attended by Khurram Nawaz Gandapur (Secretary General, Minhaj-ul-Quran International), Javed Hazrovi, Syed Mehboob Shah Kazmi, Mufti Zain-ul-Abideen, Syed Amjad Ali Shah, Nisar Ahmad Sulaimani, the sons of Syed Ghulam Ali Shah Kazmi, and a large number of religious scholars, social workers, businessmen, and media representatives
