Chairman Supreme Council Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri, met with Mr. Akhtar Chaudhary from Oslo, Norway.
Mr. Akhtar Chaudhry, who hails from Oslo, Norway, is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) with a specialization in Counter-Terrorism and Violent Extremism. He is presently serving as a Guest Researcher at the School of Peace and Counter-Terrorism Studies, Minhaj University Lahore.
Mr. Chaudhry is the former Deputy Speaker of the Norwegian Parliament and a recipient of the Sitara-i-Quaid-i-Azam, awarded by the President of Pakistan.
During the meeting, Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri presented him with the historic “Fatwa on Terrorism and Suicide Bombings” authored by His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, along with several of his own publications.
