Address at the Launch Ceremony of the “Hayya ‘Alal Falah” Islamic Learning Courses Website

Addressing the launch ceremony of the website for Minhaj-ul-Quran International’s online “Hayya ‘Alal Falah” Islamic Learning Courses—an initiative designed for teaching and learning religion—Chairman of the Supreme Council Professor Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri said that a true leader is one who establishes his identity through service, character, and knowledge. The real measure of leadership lies in noble conduct, sincere character, service to humanity, and dedication to knowledge.
He said that today’s youth are facing numerous challenges, and it is essential to provide them with a strong foundation through religious, ethical, and intellectual guidance. Societies that build their foundations upon character and knowledge naturally progress toward peace and development. He emphasized that spreading the knowledge of religion is the greatest form of worship.
Detailing the features of the Islamic Learning Courses website, Director of Foreign Affairs of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Shakeel Ahmad Tahir, said that “Hayya ‘Alal Falah” is a modern Islamic learning platform that offers integrated Qur’an- and Hadith-based courses for youth along with special programs that guide them in practical life. Through this website, individuals will be able to benefit from various courses according to their convenience, making it possible for even those with busy schedules to learn the essential teachings of Islam.
He added that every member associated with Minhaj-ul-Quran International—an Islamic revivalist movement—has the fundamental responsibility of fulfilling the mission of spreading the message of faith.
President of the Hayya ‘Alal Falah Islamic Learning Courses Program, Mushtaq Suharwardi, said that inviting others to Islam is obligatory for every Muslim who professes the Kalima. He noted that the program was launched five years ago during the month of Ramadan. Thousands of people have benefitted from it, and 23 courses have been conducted so far. A documentary highlighting the program’s five-year performance was also shown on the occasion.
