PAT Strongly Condemns Terrorist attack in Bannu

Secretary General of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the office of the Peace Committee’s head in Bannu, calling it an act of blatant terrorism. He said that targeting a community dedicated to establishing peace is the worst example of hostility toward the nation and sheer cowardice. He added that terrorists deserve no leniency, and such cowardly actions are part of a conspiracy to undermine the country’s peace.

He stated that the establishment of the Peace Committee served as a strong local defense mechanism against terrorism, and attacking it is effectively an attack on Pakistan’s peaceful future. Khurram Nawaz Gandapur expressed deep sorrow over the tragic killing of seven innocent people and the injuries sustained by several civilians, describing the incident as extremely painful and distressing.

The PAt leader emphasized that shedding the blood of innocent people is absolutely intolerable; terrorist elements are the common enemies of humanity, the state, and peace. He urged state institutions to take immediate and decisive action to bring the perpetrators to justice. Pakistan Awami Tehreek fully supports all state measures against terrorism and will continue to extend full cooperation for the establishment of peace in the country.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur expressed condolences and solidarity with the families of the deceased and prayed for the swift recovery of the injured. He said the entire nation stands united against terrorism, and such cowardly attacks cannot weaken the country’s resolve. He also stressed that special security measures should be taken to ensure the protection of peace-building communities.
