Dr Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri Lecture Leadership Students Quran Guidance 2026

Chairman Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, while delivering a lecture to senior classes of the College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences on the topic “The Standard of Leadership,” said that a true leader and teacher is one who instills leadership qualities in students.

He emphasized that young people should incorporate the knowledge they acquire into their character. Knowledge should be evident in one’s conduct and speech. The Holy Qur’an is not merely a book for spiritual reward; rather, it provides comprehensive guidance for leading a successful life.

Dr. Hassan Qadri described the Qur’an as a “book of science” that offers training and guidance for politics, society, economy, and the development of an ideal social order. He urged the youth to reflect deeply on the Qur’an and strive to understand the divine message revealed by Allah Almighty through His beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) for the guidance of humanity.

He added that the true appreciation of the Qur’an lies in understanding it with translation. Character, he said, is a quality that grants a person lasting distinction, and one should not compromise it for superficial or temporary gains.

He further stated that mere bookish knowledge is not sufficient; truly beneficial knowledge is that which is reflected in a person’s actions, behavior, and decisions. Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri concluded by saying that Allah has endowed every individual with unique abilities, and discovering and nurturing those abilities is the essence of leadership development.

The event was attended by Principal of the College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences Dr. Mumtaz-ul-Hassan Barvi, Dr. Masood Ahmad Mujahid, Sabir Hussain, Dr. Shafqat Baghdadi, Mohibullah Azhar, and other faculty members.
