Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, has said that Generation Z is no longer persuaded by mere speeches or inspiring stories. "The time for advice alone has passed," he remarked. "Today's leadership must validate every claim through its own character and conduct."

He emphasized that the development of future generations through exemplary education and upbringing, effective leadership, and a strong sense of responsibility is indispensable for building a righteous, peaceful, and progressive society.

Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri expressed these views while delivering a special address on "Exemplary Upbringing and Effective Leadership" on the concluding day of the three-day Al-Hidayah Canada 2026 Spiritual and Educational Camp, held at McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada.

He stated that the Muslim Ummah's distinction as the "best community" is conditional upon steadfast faith, the promotion of righteousness, the prevention of evil, the establishment of justice and fairness, and the sincere service of humanity. True excellence, he explained, does not lie in one's position, social status, or identity, but in faithfully fulfilling the moral, spiritual, and social responsibilities entrusted by Allah Almighty.

Dr. Hassan Qadri further stressed that parents are a child's first and most influential teachers and mentors. Children learn primarily from the habits, attitudes, and character of their parents. Therefore, he urged parents to begin by reforming themselves and transforming their homes into centers of prayer, truthfulness, love, compassion, noble character, and righteous companionship.

Participants described the three-day Al-Hidayah Camp 2026 as a significant initiative for nurturing strong families, principled leaders, and a responsible, service-oriented Muslim society.
