A ceremony was held in the honor of the graduate Huffaz students under the banner of Minhaj Institute of Qira’at & Tehfeez-ul-Quran and Aghosh Complex. Addressing the ceremony, president MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the teachers who torture students are causing estrangement of the new generation from both knowledge and religion. He stated categorically that the use of torture in religious seminaries is unacceptable, stating that the manner in which the students pursuing medical and engineering professions are imparted education, the students of religious seminaries should also be treated in the same manner and given education as per the same standard.
Addressing a combined ceremony of Miraj-un-Nabi (pbuh) and the monthly spiritual gathering through a video link on the night of March 12, MQI founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the Holy Quran is the biggest and eternal miracle conferred upon the Holy Prophet (pbuh). He said that after the Holy Quran, Miraj (ascension) is the second biggest miracle. He said that the epoch of Miraj is called "al-Isra’ wal Miraj", the word 'al-Isra’' has been derived from the Holy Quran, while the word 'Miraj' has been taken from the Hadith.
Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Deputy Chairman, BoG of Minhaj University Lahore, attended an inaugural ceremony of "Maktaba al-Kitab al-Mubeen" on the special invitation of Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi, the head of Jamia Urwa-tul-Wusqa.

Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri and Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri attended the conference on special invitation. They also spoke on the occasion.

He said that the changes in the curriculum in line with the contemporary requirements are inevitable with the objective to make students productive and patriotic members of society. He said that religious Madaris are the protector of the foundational thought and playing important role in the increase in the literacy rate.
A delegation of Sports Board, Punjab, led by Director General Adnan Arshad Olakh visited Minhaj University Lahore. The delegation met Deputy Chairman BOG, Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri. Vice-Chancellor MUL Dr. Sajid Mahmood Shahzad welcomed the guests along with other university officials. The VC introduced the delegation to the players of different sports teams of MUL.
On the occasion of International Women's Day, an International Women's Conference was organized under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League at the central secretariat Model Town. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri delivered a special address to the participants of the conference. While addressing the Conference, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri explained the concept of Equal Status of Women as men in Islam. He Said that woman in the form of every relation either daughter, mother or wife; She's the symbol of peace, love and mercy.
The Women Development Department, Government of Punjab, arranged a conference to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8 at a local hotel. The event was attended by various organizations. Ms. Ayesha Mubashir (Vice General Secretary MWL Pakistan) and Ms. Rafia Urooj represented Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League at the conference.

WOICE, the department of MWL Pakistan, held its first session on the subject of guiding women. Mrs. Fizzah Hussain Qadri supervised the session and delivered the keynote lecture to the participants of the session.

He said that the teachings of the Holy Quran and Sunnah impart a lesson of moderation, tolerance, and mutual love, and brotherhood. The religious seminaries have a critical role to play in establishing unity within various schools of thought and the elimination of religious factionalism.
Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that as of today, MQI is the biggest reformative organization working for the education and spiritual training of the youth. He said MQI is a movement dedicated to the promotion of knowledge, research, and awareness. He said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has authored more than 1000 books on a variety of subjects, out of which 600 works have been published.
