The 40th foundation day of Minhaj-ul-Quran International will be celebrated across 100 countries of the world including Pakistan on October 17. The MQI chapters will hold seminars and foundation-day ceremonies to pay tributes to Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri for his struggle over the last four decades. The central foundation day ceremony will be held at the central secretariat in which leading religious, political, and scholarly personalities will speak.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) founding leader and patron-in-chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri thanked the national leaders and leading writers and journalists for sending their congratulatory messages and said that MQI is a movement working for the promotion of knowledge, peace, research, reform, and awareness.
The 40th foundation day of the MQI cake cutting ceremony was held at Jame al-Mustafa/ MMCC on October 17. President MQI Canada Kamran Rashid along with his team welcomed all guests to the event. He appreciated all efforts of his team and recognized their hard work and devotion to the mission of MQI.
The 40th foundation day of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) is being celebrated on October 17, 2020. It is a historic moment. The organisation that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri founded four decades ago has expanded its network and presence across the world in all the continents including Pakistan. Today, millions of the people in the world are benefiting from the Islamic message of peace, love, knowledge, and tolerance and are enlightening their hearts and minds with the light of the real .
It is my pleasure to congratulate Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri on the 40th foundation day of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. There is no doubt about the fact that Dr Qadri has served the cause of religion by rising above any sectarian affiliation. Allow me to say that the services rendered by MQI are exemplary in every sense of the word. People not only remember these today but will also continue to do so in the future as well.
I congratulate Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, workers, associates, and the members of MQI throughout the world on the occasion of the 40th foundation-day of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. Due to the dedicated struggle of Dr Qadri and his workers, MQI has come to a point today from where its message of love, brotherhood, and peace has reached the whole world.
A prayer ceremony was held for Sayyid Yusuf Zai-ud-Din al-Qadri al-Gilani al-Baghdadi, the elder brother of Qudwat-ul-Awliya Sayyiduna Tahir Ala-ud-Din al-Qadri, al-Gilani, al-Baghdadi, who breathed his last in Baghdad the other day. Rich tributes were paid to late Sayyid Yusuf Zia-ud-Din al-Qadri al-Gilani for his spiritual and religious services.
The Department of Food and Nutrition of Minhaj University Lahore (MUL) arranged a seminar on the topic of "Water is life". The purpose of the seminar was to raise awareness about the importance of water and urge people to cut down on its wastage. Provincial minister for irrigation Mohsin Laghari, Vice-Chancellor Dr Sajid Mahmood Shehzad, and Dr Jawad, head of the Department of Food and Nutrition attended the seminar in addition to the University students.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Multan held "Sayyida Zaynab (sa) Conference" which was attended by hundreds of women from around the towns of Multan. Zonal Head South Punjab Adeeba Chaudhary and Coordinator Courses Irfan-ul-Hidayah Ms. Iqra Mobeen joined the conference.
Renowned columnist, analyst, and public speaker Oriya Maqbool Jan visited the Minhaj University Lahore. He met with Deputy Chairman Board of Governors, Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri in his office. During the meeting, Oriya Mabool Jan appreciated the efforts of Chief Executive & Chairman Board of Governors, MUL Shaykh-ul-Islam Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri for the promotion of education in Pakistan. Worthy Vice Chancellor Dr. Sajid Mahmood Shahzad was also present at the occasion.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow on the death of Sayyid Yusuf bin Mahmood Hussam-ud-Din al-Qadri, al-Gilani, al-Baghdadi, the elder brother of MQI's spiritual patron Qudwat-ul-Awliya Sayyiduna Tahir Ala-ud-Din al-Qadri, al-Gilani, al-Baghdadi. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace and give courage and fortitude to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
Addressing a conference at the central secretariat of MQI, Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the Holy Prophet (pbuh) is the pride of humanity. He said the Muslim Umma will continue to express their gratitude on this greatest of blessings by celebrating Mawlid-un-Nabi (pbuh) till the Day of Judgment. He said the Holy Prophet (pbuh) is a benefactor and guide of the whole humanity, adding that his arrival in the world gave the manifesto of dignified living to humankind and did away with the so-called pride in caste, creed, colour, and race.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Pakistan organized 'Rabi-ul-Awal Plan Launching' ceremony to formally launch the whole plan for the blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awal today at central secretariat Minhaj-ul-Quran which was attended by hundreds of designates at secretariat and hundreds of other designates joined online. Chairman Supreme Council MQI Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri addressed the session.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri held an important meeting with the central executive of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Pakistan today at Al-Qadria. The meeting was held to analyze the upcoming Mawlid-un-Nabi (PBUH) activities which MWL Pakistan is going to launch as a comprehensive plan on 11th of October. Chairman Supreme Council MQI greatly appreciated the overall planning, projects and activities lined up for the month of Rabi-ul-Awal.
On the occasion of 977th 'Urs' of Hazrat Data Ali Hujwiri Ganj Bakhsh (RA), MQI leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that Awlia (friends of Allah) propagated the message of love and peace in the land. They loved humanity without any discrimination of caste, creed and color. He said real mysticism is against violence and in favor of brotherhood.
