A Dua ceremony was held for the martyrs of Model Town tragedy in Madinat Al-Zahra, Bradford, under the banner of MQI UK. A large number of people including religious scholars, community members, workers and associates of MQI attended the ceremony. Allama Muhammad Afzal Saeedi, Director Madinat Al-Zahra, presided over the ceremony, whereas renowned scholar Allama Muhammad Sultan Mash'hadi, and social activist Muhammad Arshad Khatana were the special guests on the occasion.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that eight years have gone by since the Model Town tragedy was perpetrated. He said that despite the passage of such a long time, the provision of justice does not seem to be in sight. He said what to speak of justice, the oppressed have not got the right to fair investigation and they are going from pillar to post for their basic rights. He said that the accused are benefiting from the pending appeals.
The Majlis-e-Shura of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has decided to hold countrywide protests on June 17 on the completion of eight years of the c. More than seven hundred members attended the meeting.
Addressing a meeting of Majlis-e-Shura, patron-in-chief and founding-leader of MQI Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the establishment of Mustafavi society is in fact Mustafavi revolution. He said that Dawah, education, and moral training shows the way toward renaissance of Islam. He said that it is for this reason that a focus on education, character building and the promotion of moral values will help change extremist and biased attitudes.
A meeting of the Central Executive Council (CEC) of MQI was held here under the leadership of Chairman Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri. The heads and presidents of all zonal organizations presented their respective performance reports in the meeting. Chairman Supreme Council expressed his satisfaction and happiness on the performance of the various departments and directorates. He, however, urged them to bring about further improvements in their working to meet the organizational targets.

Distinguished director, writer and filmmaker Syed Noor visited Aghosh Orphan Care Home along with his wife Saima Noor, a famous actor in her own right and spent the entire day with the orphan children. Both husband and wife sat with the children for lunch. Saima Noor mixed up with the innocent children and showed amazing love for them.
Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has decided to hold protests across the country at the district level on the 17th of June in remembrance of the martyrs of Model Town tragedy. PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has written a letter to all district organizations in this regard in which the directions have been given to the local chapters to hold protests against injustice on the occasion of the completion of 8 years of the Model Town massacre.
President All-Pakistan Small Traders Association and Industries Babar Butt met Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman MQI Supreme Council along with the delegation. The matters relating to the problems facing the traders and industrialists came under discussion during the meeting. Talking to the traders and industrialists, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the traders' community should create facilitation and ease for the consumers. He said that Allah Almighty rewards those who are helpful to others in need.
While addressing the camp's last day session, Dr. Ghazala Qadri explained the sly and clever nature of Nafs and Shaytan that first they become obedient towards you, help you in dawah and hide behind you. That's the deceiving Nafs; Nafs al Makkara. Then Nafs asks for more appreciation and recognition of struggle. It also goes against discipline and makes you arrogant and said that the cure against Nafs is in being sincere. She went on to explain the nexus of Shaytan and Nafs and how they create alliance, causing Fitnah.
In the first session of Al-Tarbiyah Day 2, Dr Ghazala Qadri delivered her talk on the importance of a Jama'at. Relating it to yesterday's talk which was about giving dawah, she emphasized on the importance of Jama'at. She began her talk while stating the objectives of Minhaj-ul-Quran and said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri derived the objectives of MQI from the Holy Quran, Surah al-Imran (verse 101/105).
On the first day of Al-Tarbiyah Camp, Dr. Ghazala Qadri delivered lecture on the importance of being connected to Minhaj-ul-Quran, serving the Deen and Dawah work by spreading the message of the Holy Prophet PBUH in society. She explained the importance of good company and to follow those whom Allah Almighty has bestowed His favours upon, with reference to the Holy Quran. Dr Ghazala also highlighted the importance of increasing members of Minhaj-ul-Quran in order to continue to spread the message throughout society.
After the determination of the life goal, sincerity, constant struggle and steadfastness take one to the ladder of success. Sporadic hard work, gluttony and a life of comfort are the reasons for the failure of man. If we look at life of any successful person, we will find the attributes of perseverance, hard work, love of humanity and devotion to duty present in them. Love for comfort and success cannot be together. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri made these remarks while addressing the 49th Urs of Hazrat Dr Farid-ud-Din Qadri.
Education is the basic unit of any society, which is responsible for its success. Our society not only suffers from the education deficit, what is bigger tragedy is the lack of uniform education. MSM demands that the 5% of national GDP should be specified for the promotion of education. The steps such as change in the class-based system of education, the imposition of 10-year educational emergency, the allocation of 5% of the national budget, the deletion of objectionable and offensive material from the curriculum, and the establishment of a special cell for the eradication corruption from the educational institutions will need to be taken for improvement in the educational system.
A ceremony was held for the resident children of Orphan Care Home (Aghosh), a welfare institute of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur distributed gifts among the children on behalf of the public relations department. Director Aghosh Complex Col. (r ) Mubashir Iqbal, Noorullah Siddiqui, Shahzad Rasool, Haji Muhammad Ishaq, the staff members of Aghosh Orphan Care Home, and caretakers of the children attended the ceremony.
