MQI’s 36th annual and the biggest International Mawlid-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference of the world will be held during the intervening night between 11th and 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal at the historic Minar-e-Pakistan on November 9, 2019. The hundreds of thousands of people from Lahore and adjoining areas would attend the Conference to show their utmost reverence and extreme love for the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri reached Karachi to attend Milad Conference. He will address the Milad Conference at Bagh-e-Qaid Karachi on the night of November 3. On November 4, he is also scheduled to deliver a lecture at the Quran Conference at Karachi University.
Addressing the Conference, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) is celebrated to renew the pledge of loyalty and obedience and strengthen our bond of reverence for the Holy Prophet (pbuh). He said it is an article of faith with us that Allah Almighty sent the Prophet of Islam (peace and blessings be upon him) as a mercy for all the worlds, stating those who follow his Sunna cannot go astray.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Pakistan has launched a comprehensive plan for the blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awwal at the launching ceremony organized today. The plan has been presented for women, kids and families and provides a guiding toolbox that how they can spend this month and reap benefits from the spiritual blessings of Allah Almighty during Rabi-ul-Awwal.
With the beginning of the holy month of Rabi ul Awwal, various celebratory activities are taking place at the central secretariat of MQI. The month is being celebrated with traditional fervor and zeal. Milad feast is being arranged this year as well like the practice of the previous years.
Addressing a Milad dinner hosted by Minhaj Youth League, Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said Islam guarantees survival, progress and welfare of humanity without any discrimination. He said the Holy Prophet (pbuh) issued a charter of human rights and excellent conduct based on mutual respect. He said those who kill innocent people and oppress the weak will remain deprived of intermediation of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) on the Day of Judgement.
Provincial education minister Dr Murad Raas visited Minhaj University Lahore and Minhaj Education Society on special invitation. On his arrival at Minhaj University, pro-vice chancellor Dr Shahid, Director Academics Khurram Shahzad, Shahzad Rasool, Haji Muhammad Ishaq, and Abdul Hafeez Chaudhry welcomed him.
Children belonging to Eagers, a forum of MWL for their moral and spiritual training, took out a rally to welcome the advent of the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. Children up to the age of 10 wore fancy dresses and were chanting slogans. They were also holding placards with the prophetic traditions written on them.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has greeted the Muslims around the globe on the advent of the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. In his message on the occasion, he said that the onset of the blessed month brings with it a message of peace, happiness and tranquility. He said that our individual happiness was no match to the collective happiness symbolized by the holy month.
Led by MQI President Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, MQI Lahore took out a procession to welcome the beginning of the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. The procession started off from Mughalpura chowk and concluded at Crown marriage hall after passing through various locations. Thousands of people including women belonging to various of life attended the procession. They were chanting slogans to welcome the holy month and offering greetings and salutations on the holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
MQI leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said Hamayon Bashir was one of 107 prisoners handed down jail term for protesting the oppression that the PMLN government perpetrated in Model Town. He said Hamayon Bashir passed away in a state of severe illness. He said Bashir had applied for bail on health grounds. He said what to speak of the grant of bail, even his plea could not be fixed for hearing despite best efforts and appeals till the day of his death.
As per tradition, with the beginning of the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, all buildings associated with MQI have been illumined with decorative lights. It includes the central secretariat, Gosha-e-Durood, Minhaj-ul-Quran Mosque, College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences, Minhaj College for Women, other related institutions and adjoining streets have been decorated with bulbs and lights.
A two-day international conference on the topic of "Science, Reason & Religion" held under the aegis of Minhaj University Lahore (MUL) with Deputy Chairman Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri in the chair. The first session of the conference was addressed by Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aslam Ghauri, Dr Charles M. Ramsey (Baylor Institute for Studies of Religion, Baylor University, USA), and Dr Herman Roborgh.
MQI leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said the kind of care and attention Pakistan's judicial, legal and state system has showered on one individual, he wished it may have meted out the same treatment to 14 innocent lives and four people martyred in Model Town and Sahiwal. 'Would that this system would have applied the same yardstick of equality to the poor as it did in case of the rich and powerful', he said.
Minhaj Women League called a special meeting to discuss and finalize the arrangements for the upcoming annual Milad Conference. The committees were formed and tasks were allocated to perfectly celebrate the month of Rabi ul Awwal. Minhaj Women League called senior member of MWL Mrs. Ayesha Shabbir, Mrs. Shahida Noumani and Respected Dr. Naushaba and they shared their useful insights to effectively plan the month of Rabi ul Awal.
