Minhaj Welfare Foundation to Construct Minhaj College of Shariah & Islamic Sciences in Khanpur

Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) has announced the construction of the Minhaj College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences in Khanpur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The announcement was made by Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, during a high-level meeting. Syed Amjad Ali Shah, Director of Projects & Institutions, has been appointed as the Project Director for this initiative.
Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri stated that this prestigious educational institute is a gift from Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri (may his blessings continue) for the people of Tarnawa, Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The college aims to provide both traditional Islamic and modern education, benefitting thousands of families by equipping their sons and daughters with purposeful knowledge.
He further said that it is the vision of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri that the bright and dignified future of Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah lies in education. Inspired by the model of Aligarh University, he has announced the construction of 100 state-of-the-art universities. With the support of generous and knowledge-loving individuals, this dream is gradually becoming a reality.
Highlighting Minhaj-ul-Quran’s achievements, Dr. Hassan said that in just four decades, the organization has established outstanding educational and training institutions both in Pakistan and abroad, benefiting hundreds of thousands of students. By the grace of the Prophet's blessed sandals (Na’layn Pak), every institution established under this platform has successfully spread the light of knowledge and reduced the darkness of poverty.
He expressed confidence that the Minhaj College of Shariah & Islamic Sciences, Khanpur, will become a model state-of-the-art institute of education and moral training. The meeting also congratulated Haji Malik Mumtaz Akbar for donating the land for this noble cause. The college, to be built on five kanals of land, will offer both Islamic (Shariah) and contemporary education.
Dr. Hassan instructed Minhaj Welfare Foundation to immediately expedite efforts to complete the construction.
The meeting was attended by Khurram Nawaz Gandapur (Secretary General), Faisal Hussain Mashhadi (MD, Minhaj Welfare Foundation), Syed Amjad Ali Shah, Qazi Faiz-ul-Islam, and Shafqat Nadeem.
