The arrangements for Qurbani 2022 have been completed. MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Director Administration Jawwad Hamid and Hafiz Khurram Shahzad visited the place and inspected the arrangements. Speaking on the occasion, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has provided a platform to overseas Pakistan living around the world in the form of collective sacrifice done at Lahore each year under the banner of Minhaj Welfare Foundation.
Directorate of Foreign Affairs of MQI conducted a "one-day online training workshop for executives Europe wide''. The camp was held for all the office bearers of MQI Europe, in collaboration with Training Department of MQI and Minhaj European Council on 3rd July, 2022. About 365 office bearers attended this training camp.
MQI Abbottabad arranged a Workers Convention in the Islamic Center in which MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur was the chief guest. In his address on the occasion, he said that the promotion of knowledge has become identity of MQI. He said that MQI has planned to set up 25000 centers of knowledge across the country in the next five years. He said that the purpose of these centers is to foster the culture of knowledge. He said that these centers of knowledge will play their role in reviving the dying moral and social values.
A joint meeting of monthly spiritual gathering of Gosha-e-Durood and ‘Urs’ ceremony of Huzoor Qudwat-ul-Awliya’ Sayyiduna Tahir Ala-ud-Din al-Qadri al-Gillani (R.A.) was held at the central secretariat. In his keynote speech on the occasion, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that Huzoor Pir Sahib was personification of piety and purification of heart. He would always remain busy in remembrance of Allah and spent his life in His obedience. When he spoke he spoke for Allah and when he kept quiet, he did it for the sake of Allah Almighty.
Jawwad Hamid and Hafiz Khurram Shahzad along with the heads of the administrative committees visited the central slaughter house to inspect the arrangements. After a tour of the venue, he said that all arrangements for the slaughter of the thousands of animals have been completed. He said that the administrative committees have worked out the plan to slaughter the animals in time and distribute the meat among the deserving. He said that the best care of the animals is being undertaken according to the weather conditions.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has congratulated Muslims around the world on the start of the holy month of Dhu al-Hijjah. In a message, he said that the month is a blessed one because Hajj, one of the five pillars of Islam, is performed in this month. He said that Hajj is not just a religious obligation for those who have resources but also reflective of unity, togetherness and collectivity in the body politic of Muslims.

It is important to mention that Sayyid Abd ar-Rahman al-Qadri al-Gillani is the cousin of Huzoor Qudwat-ul-Awliya’ Sayyiduna Tahir Ala-ud-Din al-Qadri al-Gillani (R.A.).

Soul-warming new books of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri have been published. These new publications are part of the series on the Concept of Oneness of God. The book “Aqida e Tawhid (Iman bil-Allah)” consists of five chapters and 223 subjects and has been written in easy-to-understand and relatable language along with the reference of the Holy Quran and Sunnah.
On the invitation of the MQI Public Relations Department, a delegation of the Nazria-e-Pakistan Trust office-holders led by Secretary Naheed Imran Gull, the Secretary of the Trust visited the MQI secretariat. They met with Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri and also invited the students studying at Minhaj University Lahore to join their Pakistan Aware Program. The delegation also extended an invitation to Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri for a visit to the offices of the Trust and Aiwan-e-Workers Pakistan.
In an open letter addressed to Chief Justice of Pakistan, Bisma Amjad, daughter of Shaheed Tanzila Amjad, has said that former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar put his hand on her head with affection and asked her to fulfill the dream of her Shaheed mother while leaving the matter of justice in Model Town case to the judiciary. She said that she became hopeful about the dream of her education with this assurance.
