PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that we will present our point of view before the larger bench of the Supreme Court for constitution of a new JIT to probe the Model Town tragedy. The SC is going to take up the petition at its principal seat in Islamabad on December 5. He said that the establishment of a new JIT is inevitable to open the doors of justice on the families of the martyrs. He said that patience and perseverance with which the families have stayed put in their legal struggle is laudable and does not have a parallel anywhere.
Addressing the annual Convocation of Minhaj University Lahore (MUL), Governor Punjab, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that the government is committed to promotion of education in the country and will utilize all resources for this purpose. He said that he greatly appreciated the services of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri, Chairman of MUL Board of Governors, for Islam, education and social sector.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri inaugurated the newly constructed Mosque on November 22 in the Minhaj University Lahore. The Mosque depicts rich Islamic culture and heritage. Punjab Minister for Public Prosecution Chaudhry Zaheer-ud-Din Khan attended the inaugural ceremony on a special invitation.
The 35th International Mawlid-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference was held at the Greater Iqbal Park under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International in Lahore during the intervening night of the 11th and 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri delivered his keynote speech on the occasion. A two-day International ‘Rahmatun-lil-Alameen’ Conference was held in Islamabad under the banner of the Government of Pakistan. Prime Minister Imran Khan was the chief guest who delivered the concluding speech on the first day of the Conference. The event was attended by the Federal Ministers, Members of Parliament, top government functionaries, researchers, religious scholars and intellectuals and a large number of the people from different walks of life.

Addressing the Conference, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the Holy Prophet (pbuh) came to the world as a prophet of love and mercy for the whole mankind. He said that the followers of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) cannot be extremists or terrorists, rather they are ambassadors of love and peace.
MQI Lahore took out a procession to welcome the start of the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal from Mughalpura chowk to main bazar Baghbanpura. The procession, which was attended by a large number of people including traders, students, teachers and women, passed through different places with the participants raising slogans to welcome the holy month.
As per tradition, with the beginning of the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, all buildings associated with MQI have been illumined with decorative lights. It includes the central secretariat, Gosha-e-Durood, Minhaj-ul-Quran Mosque, College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences, Minhaj College for Women, other related institutions and adjoining streets have been decorated with bulbs and lights.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has greeted the Muslims around the globe on the advent of the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. In his message on the occasion, he said that the onset of the blessed month brings with it a message of peace, happiness and tranquility. He said that our individual happiness was no match to the collective happiness symbolized by the holy month.
In his message on the 141st birth anniversary of Allama Dr Muhammad Iqbal, being celebrated today, PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that it is by studying the poetry and philosophy of the poet of the East that one gets to how the sea of love of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) was raging in his personality and whole being. He said that he was a true lover of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) over and above being an Islamic scholar, ‘Hakim-ul-Ummat’, and creator of the idea of Pakistan.
Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of the MQI and Deputy Chairman of Minhaj University Lahore (MUL), had the honour of visiting the shrine of Hakim-ul-Ummat Allama Dr Muhammad Iqbal on the occasion of his 141st birthday. He laid the floral wreath on the grave of the poet of the East and prayed for peace, progress and security of the motherland.
Addressing a convention arranged by MQI Lahore to welcome the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of MQI, has said that the teachings of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) based on love and peace brought the warring tribes together. Those tribes that thirsted for each other’s blood became each other’s guardians. He said that the MQI is spreading these teachings in the society, stating that Islam is a fine blend of emotions and rationality.
A special gathering of the women was held under the banner of MQI Norway in Oslo Centre in connection with welcoming the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. A large number of women from around Oslo participated in the gathering. The message of Rabi-ul-Awwal was presented in a very beautiful manner. The local ‘Minhaj Halqa-e-Durood’ teams offered the greetings and salutations on the Holy Prophet (pbuh) in a touch manner and made the even a memorable one.
