Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has congratulated Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) on the distribution of winter package among deserving families in Kundal Shahi valley of Azad Kashmir. He said that the volunteers of Minhaj Welfare Foundation worked with passion and dedication to help the suffering humanity in the freezing cold. The Department of Mass Communication, the Minhaj University Lahore and Daily Tehreek jointly arranged a seminar on the topic of "journalism for the state". Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab on Information Hassan Khawar was the chief guest on the occasion. In his speech, Hassan Khawar said that the publication of concocted, false and misleading news and their dissemination put the credibility of the state at risk. He said that fake news is not only a problem for us but has also grown into an international challenge.
In a meeting at the central secretariat of MQI in Lahore, Dr. Ghazala Qadri, President of MWL International, was given briefings by MWL teams of Karachi and Islamabad zones. The teams joined online and briefed about the progress and overview of the ongoing projects.

President MWL International Dr Ghazala Hassan Qadri addressed the oath-taking ceremony of MSM-Sisters Pakistan. The ceremony was joined by all the city, district and zonal representatives of the organization. The Hassaan bin Thabit Na‘t Research Center, Minhaj University Lahore, arranged a memorial reference to pay tributes to internationally known Naat khawan Khalid Hasnain Khalid and other Naat reciters. Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Chairman Board of Governors of MUL Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Naat reciters are that segment that follows the practice of the Holy Companions. He said that if there is the blessing of Allah and His Prophet (PBUH) behind the act of reciting Naat, 'manqabat' and Hamd, such Naat reciters will have life-long reputation.
Dr. Ghazala Hassan Qadri chaired a meeting at the central secretariat to review the performance of the two departments of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League. In the meeting, she was given briefing on the working projects and future plans by the social media department and team of Dukhtaran-e-Islam magazine. MWL Karachi organized a ceremony to celebrate the foundation-day of MWL, which was presided over by Mrs. Nusrat Rana Dar, President MWL Karachi. Mrs. Fouzia Junaid, central zonal Nazima MWL Karachi and Mrs. Sana Naveed, General Secretary MWL Karachi delivered special lectures in which they threw light on the various phases of the struggle of Women League. Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (MWL) organized an online meeting with all Pakistan 'tanzeemat', which was presided over by General Secretary MWL Ms Sidra Karamat. She presented and interpreted the handwritten letter of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri for Tanzeemat, which he wrote on the occasion of the 34th foundation-day of MWL.
