Addressing a "Mohsin-e-Insaniyat (pbuh) Conference" held under the banner of the MQI Interfaith Relations and Punjabi Sikh Sangat in Nankana sahib, President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that the Holy Prophet (pbuh) was sent as a prophet of mercy for all the worlds. He said that history has been made on the land of Nankana sahib as the birthday of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) is being celebrated at Janam Asthan Nankana Sahib, adding that the world will remember this show of interfaith harmony for a long time to come.
Milad feasts, an annual feature of MQI's programs for the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, continue to take place at the central secretariat. Chairman Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri attended one such feast as a special guest. Naat khawan had the honour to recite Naat in the honour of our beloved Prophet (pbuh).
A special ceremony was held in the memory of former great leg spinner and national cricket hero, late Abdul Qadir, under the banner of Minhaj University Lahore. Internationally known cricketers and colleagues of Abdul Qadir paid rich tributes to him. Salman Qadir, son of Abdul Qadir and his daughter, granddaughter and the members of his family attended the ceremony.
Like the practice of the past years, the Milad feasts and Milad gatherings are taking place at the central secretariat, starting with the first of Rabi-ul-Awwal until the 12th. Renowned religious scholar and director Minhaj Education Society, Ali Waqar Qadri spoke on the subject of 'love of the Holy Prophet (pbuh)'. In his speech, he said that love of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) is the basis as well as the essence of our faith. He recalled Hadith in which the Holy Prophet (pbuh) said: none of you cannot become a believer unless he (pbuh) becomes dearer to them than their own children, and parents.
As per tradition, with the beginning of the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, all buildings associated with MQI have been illumined with decorative lights. It includes the central secretariat, Gosha-e-Durood, Shaykh-ul-Islam Mosque, College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences, Minhaj College for Women, other related institutions and adjoining streets have been decorated with bulbs and lights. Minhaj-ul-Quran International celebrates the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal in general and the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal in particular in the best possible manner.

Muhammad Murshid-ul-Haq, who is working as associate professor in the Islamic sciences department of Chittagong University in Bangladesh, has earned his PhD on the subject of "Exemplary role of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in the promotion of Islamic sciences". Muhammad Murshid-ul-Haq has made a commendable scholarly effort to cover the personality and work of Shaykh-ul-Islam from various angles in the nine chapters of his thesis.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has congratulated Muslims around the globe on the advent of the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. In his felicitation message on the occasion, he said that the onset of the blessed month brings with it a message of peace, happiness, and tranquility. He said that our individual happiness was no match to the collective happiness symbolized by the holy month.
Secretary International Milad Conference Jawwad Hamid has said that the 38th International Mawlid-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference will be held at the historic Minar-e-Pakistan during the intervening night of the 11th and 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal. He said that 50 administrative committees have been set up that have already started the preparation for the mega event. He said that hundreds of men and women from across the country will attend the Conference to express their love and reverence for their beloved Prophet (pbuh). He said that the highlight of the Conference is the keynote address by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Pakistan held Annual Welcome Rabi-ul-Awal Mehfil on Thursday at central secretariat MQI, Lahore. The ceremony was supervised by Muhtarma Riffat Jabeen Qadri sahiba. She joined the ceremony online and shared a beautiful message for the audience. She encouraged tanzimaat to maximize their efforts of spreading the dawah message by holding mahafils, seminars and conferences.
Addressing the training session attended by senior students of COSIS, President Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that it is our mission to protect the students from the scourges of extremism, terrorism and drugs and make them a patriotic and productive citizens of this country. He said that cleanliness, mental concentration, control of one's ill-commanding self and human attributes of moderation and tolerance are the guarantee of our success in this world.
Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri addressed the senior students of COSIS on the inaugural day of the two-day training workshop. In his lecture, he said that the subject of ethics and morality needs special care in order to build an educated and civilized society. He said that knowledge is of no use without action, and character. He said that it is a matter of great worry that our educational institutions no doubt impart the teaching of curriculum but pay no need to the imperative of morality and character building.
Day 2 of Al-Tazkiya 2021, in the afternoon, consisted of exclusive workshops that the participants signed up for which were interactive so that the sisters would be able to take part and have discussions with their fellow participants. Five workshops were held with speakers, Nour Cauveren, Sairish Hussain, Allia Tabassum, and Asima Zahir.
The final session of Al-Tazkiya 2021 commenced with host Sister Aaiza Iqbal giving attendees a warm welcome and introducing Dr Ghazala Qadri to present her final lecture. Dr Ghazala firstly explained how the Holy Prophet (PBUH) not only introduced Circles of Knowledge but He (PBUH) also introduced the research work and encouraged the companions to become specialised in different fields. She highlighted how every aspect of Knowledge and Tarbiyah and its roots can be traced back to the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
The third session was a very inspiring interview with Dr Aqsa Aziz which was hosted by Sister Fathema Khan. Dr Aqsa Aziz a course director and senior lecturer at Coventry University; is an exceptional woman who has always strived for excellence not only in her educational life but personal life as well.
