He said that pilgrimage is one of the great pillars of Islam and a symbol of the unity of the faithful. He said the practices performed as part of pilgrimage teach us equality, tolerance, moderation and peace. He said Hajj and sacrifice remind us of the great sacrifices of Hazrat Ibrahim (as) and Hazrat Ismail (as).
Eagers Club is arranging a three-day awareness session on Hajj from July 14 to July 16 at the MQI central secretariat. The purpose of organizing the session is to provide information to the children, highlight the blessings of the holy pilgrimage and answer the questions.
The monthly spiritual gathering of Gosha-e-Durood (for the month of July) that is held under the banner of MQI coincided with the 30th annual 'Urs' of Huzoor Qudwat-ul-Awliya’ Sayyiduna Tahir Ala-ud-Din al-Qadri al-Gillani al-Baghdadi (ra). An Islamic calligraphy competition was held under the aegis of Minhaj Sisters Spain on July 4. A total of 17 boys and girls from different cities of Spain including Barcelona and Madrid took part in the competition. A large number of people also attended the event and wholly enjoyed the segment. The 'Sunnah segment' attracted the attention of the audience in which people shared their favorite 'Sunnah'. The people of all ages including the children showed their love of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) through their active participation and interest.
Renowned TV and film artist Mobeen Gabol and Azhar Rangeela called on President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri at his residence. MQI President Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri attended a prayer ceremony and Quran khawani on the occasion of the second death anniversary of Muhammad Adnan Javed. Speaking on the occasion, he paid rich tributes to the services of the late Director Finance. He said that Adnan Javed was a great asset for MQI in whom Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri used to take pride. He said that his services were praiseworthy. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace.
Directorate of Training, MQI, has organized a four-day international conference on the subject of "Changing world and the role of religious movements". Addressing the conference on the first day, MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that the global powers stoked the fires of religious extremism in Pakistan for their political and economic interests.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) has gifted books authored by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri to Hazrat Abu al-Hasan ash-Shadhili library located at Qaddafi stadium Lahore that is being operated under the aegis of Sports Board Punjab. An MQI delegation consisting of Director Public Relations Shahzad Rasool, Haji Muhammad Ishaq, and Abdul Hafeez Chaudhry presented the gift of books to Director General Sports Punjab, Adnan Arshad Olakh.

Addressing scores of protest rallies held across the country marking the seventh anniversary of Model Town tragedy, MQI founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that it is perfectly understandable as to why justice was not provided during the incumbency of the previous government but asked as to why the doors of justice continue to remain shut in the PTI government. He said that PM Imran Khan held numerous press conferences with him and attended various demonstrations seeking justice for the martyrs of Model Town tragedy.
Central MWL delegation visited the graves of Shaheed Tanzila Amjad and Shaheeda Shazia Murtaza who were martyred by the police on June 17, 2014 in Lahore. The mothers of both the martyrs and their children also accompanied the delegates to the graveyard.
A delegation of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League visited the Martyr's Memorial under the leadership of Secretary General Sidra Karamat. They laid floral wreath and prayed for the departed souls. Speaking on the occasion, Sidra Karamat said that the workers were punished on June 17, 2014 for their relationship with MQI leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. She asked as to what kind of democracy is this in which the women are killed in cold blood and then their families are kept deprived of justice for many years on end.
